The Columbia Soccer Club invites you and your team to the 2003 Carolina Boy's & Girls Cup Tournament October 4th & 5th in Columbia. This is the 9th year for this event and it has grown into a favorite for teams throuought the Southeast. Last year teams from 6 states participated in this event.
This tournament is sanctioned by the South Carolina Youth Soccer Association and seeks to attract top competitive teams from across the United States. The tournament will follow USYSA rules regarding travel, officials and play. Teams will play a minimum of 3 games, with the finals played on Sunday. Age groups U-10 thru U-19 are urged to apply.
Location: All games will be played on outstanding natural turf fields at the Columbia Soccer Club Complex in Ballentine, SC and, the Crooked Creek Complex in Chapin.
Eligibility: All teams must be affiliated with the USYSA and be in good standing with their state association. Teams that are accepted for the tournament must provide the following credentials at registration. Three guest players will be allowed.
* Approved State Roster
* Medical and liability release forms (state forms accepted)
* Current USYSA Player passes
* Permission to travel forms for teams outside S.C.
Entry Fee: The tournament fee is $400.00 for U-11 through U-19. The U-10 fee is $350.00. Checks should be made out to the Columbia Soccer Club, and be included with your tournament application form. Once a team has been accepted, the entry fee is non-refundable. In the event your team is not accepted, your entry fee will be refunded in full. There will be no refunds due to weather conditions. Registration: All participating teams will be required to registser on Friday October 3rd from 6-10 PM. (There will be no registration permitted on the opening day of play.) The registration location will be the AmeriSuites Hotel at 1130 Kinley Rd. in Irmo, SC (803) 407-1560

Awards: Winning and runners-up teams will receive trophies. Players on second place teams will receive other individual awards.
Referees: USSF three person teams will be used. All teams applying should indicate on their application the names of any certified referees who might be interested in officiating.
